Screw mold is a mold used for molding screw parts or for molding plastic products in conjunction with screws, and is widely used in industries such as plastic processing. Here is the relevant introduction:

structural composition

Upper mold: Usually equipped with a hot runner to guide molten plastic into the mold cavity. Some of the upper molds are also equipped with mold holes, into which the mold core can be inserted when the mold is closed. The hole wall on the side of the mold hole can be a guiding slope, which cooperates with the guiding slope on the outer side of the mold core block to play a guiding role.

Mold core: composed of several mold core blocks spliced together, each mold core block is provided with an injection cavity, and the injection cavities of all mold core blocks are spliced to form a complete mold cavity. The mold cavity is equipped with a core for forming the internal structure or hole of the screw.

Lower mold: A linear slide rail can be opened on the lower template, and the slider at the bottom of the mold block can move inside the slide rail to achieve the movement of the mold block, so as to open the mold cavity during mold opening and facilitate screw demolding. The lower mold may also be equipped with a ejector pin or other pushing mechanism to lift the formed screw from the core.
